Mitchell Bamberger, MD, MBA, FACS earned his medical degree from Albany Medical College of Union University, Albany, NY. He completed a two-year residency in general surgery at the University of Florida, Gainesville, FL and a fellowship in surgery at Sacramento Medical Center in Sacramento, CA. He performed a residency in urology at St. Luke’s/Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York, NY where he was Chief Resident.
Dr. Bamberger continued his training with a Research Fellowship in the Renal Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, and Harvard University, Boston, MA. He also received an MBA from Plymouth State College, Plymouth, NH. Dr. Bamberger is board certified in Urology.
Before joining Tri-County Medical, Dr. Bamberger was the Chief of Urology in the Department of Surgery at St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester, MA. He practiced at the Fallon Clinic for several years in Milford and in Webster, MA. He is a Clinical Associate Professor of Urology Surgery at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, Worcester, MA, and he is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
In addition to practicing general urology, Dr. Bamberger treats children, and treats women with pelvic floor prolapse and urinary incontinence.
